I began traveling in 2009 with my family on numerous trips through the years with the speed skating club, Christmas vacations, and visiting family/friends in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary. I began my first solo trip in August 2012, when I took a solo trip (a graduation gift) and never looked back. Since then I’ve been to Vancouver every few years until 2020. I still hope to get back to Vancouver in 2025 or 2026. I’ve been to Prince George, Quesnel, Fort St. John and Grande Prairie to name a few local places I’ve been to
My first solo trip
My first solo trip was on August 1-8, 2012 when I was gifted a trip to Vancouver as a graduation gift. I flew from Fort St. John to Vancouver and spent time with Sandra (I call her my aunt), foster parents Shiranee and Kamal, and finally Grandma Sheila and Grandpa Gary on my final day (I did this for both my 2015 and 2017 trips as well) 2020 was my first trip staying in the same location for the full trip
